“How many hours a day do I need to trade until I can double my money?” 👇Beginners with tainted mindsets and a polluted perspective on what trading *actually is* will commonly ask me questions like this. But it’s not the right question. No one can honestly tell you how much time you need to put into it or how long until a monetary goal is achieved. There are other much more important variables and factors to consider. 🧠But I get it - people have been SO DECEIVED by pricks, flexers, fake traders, influencers, and scammers online. They’ve led you to believe that THIS is how you measure success, or THIS is how you measure if learning from a mentor is worth it or not. (Pssst… a mentor who has the results you want and can guide you past your bottlenecks and blind spots is ALWAYS worth it!)Here is a guarantee I can give you: THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES IN TRADING. 💯 Neither I nor anyone else can give you an honest answer to any of these types of questions. BECAUSE THIS IS ENTIRELY DEPENDENT ON YOU.For me as an educator and mentor and coach, my only job is to deliver the quality content enmeshed with my knowledge, wisdom, experience, and expertise, and provide my students with support along the way.Anything and almost everything else is entirely up to you, the trader.Don’t start this highly-rewarding and life-changing endeavour with the wrong mindset, or else you’ll be setting yourself up for failure even before your first trade.Because if you go in with such unrealistic or skewed expectations and goals, then 3 months, 6 months, and even 12 months in and you’ve not reached those expectations yet, you’re going to think that all this wasn’t worth it and that it doesn’t work, and you’ll end up giving up. 🥺

Let’s be real 👇There isn’t really such thing as work/life balance at the beginning of your journey. It takes about 2-3 years of focused work to get to the position I’m in where your profits are consistently rolling in with only 15-30 mins of work per day.But that trade-off is SO WORTH IT, isn’t it?Delay gratification at the start for 2-3 years while putting in the work to be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour, to be able to live a life of freedom and fulfillment afterwards.Easy mornings, afternoon naps, world travel, brunch on Tuesdays, beach on Thursdays...Everyone expects trading to look like this-It does, and it CAN be this way, but NOT in the beginning.Work hard at the start to be able to relax later. That was an acceptable deal for me.I didn’t get to where I am overnight. It took me 2.5 years of study, practice, learning more, and taking action consistently before I quit my job and retired from the workforce for good.But I didn’t do it with any unfair advantages or special magic tricks - just a burning desire to make it work, so I know you can do it, too.But to expect “freedom” in the beginning when I was learning and getting good would have been a mistake, because then I would have quit when I didn’t see “work/life balance” after 6 months.The alternative is to stay in a job you hate and want to escape from for the next how-many-years until you can retire? Do you really think 2-3 hours of work each day to build your dream life is too much to ask?Work/life balance is your REWARD for showing up and committing to the plan.If you’re on the path, stay committed and keep going 💪It doesn’t take a long time, but you do need to put in the effort.You got this 👌
