How to profit on BTC, ETH, and $alts going down in a bear market! 💰
So now that BTC has peaked, many are scared about their crypto investments and asking me, “what happens if BTC crashes?!”. Well, aside from taking profits when BTC as at its highs, you can ACTUALLY profit from the down moves! YES! That’s right amigos!
Short selling is a method that allows you to make money over an asset’s price drop. This is not the same as buying BTC and then selling the BTC you have. You can short sell Bitcoin (or any other cryptos) that you don’t own! Let me explain…
Basically, shorting works by allowing you to borrow an asset, such as Bitcoins, and sell it at its current price. Later on, you purchase the Bitcoins to pay back the person or company you borrowed them from.
Hopefully, when you go to repurchase the Bitcoins, prices will have dropped, so it will be cheaper to purchase the BTC and pay back who you borrowed them from!
