Sounds batshit stupid, doesn’t it? It’s not just about putting in the hours, getting a paycheck, and paying your bills. Yes, we’ve all got debts to pay (Canadians owe $1.75 for every $1 they make 😂) BUT you’ve got to pay yourself first and you’ve got to pay yourself in the future too. Investing your earnings is paying yourself in the future.
Make your money go to work for you and make you more money. That’s what the wealthy have been doing for DECADES. This isn’t new, this isn’t something I made up and am telling you to get a start on. Investing is what separates the wealthy from the poor. Generation after generation, its the one thing that the poor don’t do.
I get it, we weren’t taught this stuff in school (the stuff that really matters, heh). It’ll take years of self-education if you weren’t taught by your parents, but then you’ll be able to spread that knowedge to others and your kids too. Then your kids will teach theirs. Be the change you’re seeking and fighting for. Generational wealth starts in the mind first with the decision to start. First, learn to understand (fin lit).
